John O'Loughlin is an Irish-born self-publishing author, much of whose childhood was spent away from his native Galway in Hampshire and Surrey, in south-east England where, following initial tutoring from a Catholic priest, he attended a number of state schools, both Catholic and (later) Protestant. Most of his adult life has been spent at different addresses in the north London Borough of Haringey, to which he moved from Surrey in 1974, and all but a few of his books have been written there, the majority of which are of an intensely philosophical and even ideologically-motivated revolutionary religious character that, given the circumstances of an Irish Catholic-derived bias, aptly lends itself to indie publishing, whether with his own company, Centretruths Digital Media, or via any of his other eBook and/or paperback platforms, including Amazon, Google, and Lulu.
