The LOPSIDED CONVERSATIONS published here, in e-book format, differs from its e-scroll precursor (freely available) not only in terms of the textural presentation of its contents (printerly rather than italic writerly) but, more significantly, in relation to the addition of three earlier dialogues, two almost play-like pieces drawn from a collection of short prose entitled A Magnanimous Offer (1976), viz. the first two dialogues in this collection, and one lengthy philosophical dialogue drawn from a volume of dualistic philosophy entitled Between Truth and Illusion (1977), which is the third of the dialogues presented here. Therefore the e-book version contains some material which is not to be found in its e-scroll counterpart but which serves, in this more commercially-oriented presentation, to introduce the philosophical bias of the majority of dialogues from a comparatively more dramatic, if not literary, angle. – A Centretruths editorial.
