Here, at last, is a quartet of books comprising John O'Loughlin's collected multigenre philosophical writings, all of which, alhough since extensively revised, originally date from the early 1980s and embrace, besides essays and disalogues (rather antithetically), what, with numerical chronologies, he calls aphorisms and maxims, whether or not also dubbed 'notational', or more than customarily discursive, thereby combining all such genres on a more collectivized basis than was originally the case, and with reference to what gradually developed into the ideological philosophy of Social Transcendentalism, as discussed more comprehensively as one proceeds along the metaphorical 'road' through each of the individual books of this substantial volume towards its culmination and, in some sense, philosophical apotheosis. – A Centretruths editorial.
