But Philosophical Truth is more than just an extension of the aforementioned Critique ...; it is a defender of truth as distinct from fact hyped as truth, and thus deserves to be regarded, justly, as philosophical or, more to the metaphysical point, as the theosophical alternative not only to mere knowledge, which tends to come in an essayistic as opposed to aphoristic form, but to the audacious claims of scientific presumption to be the sole criterion of truth. – A Centretruths editorial.
