Fold-in
Hoods with Velcro. Fold-in hoods that can be secured with velcro or some such loosely adhesive material seem to me to
be a kind of social bureaucratic extrapolation from the more representatively antiphysical kind of fold-in hood, which I have described
as utilizing a zipper (in watery fashion) and consider to be subordinate to
bent-handled collapsible umbrellas with or without, though especially without,
recourse to a sheath. Thus they suggest a sort of radical republican
status commensurate, it may be, with heavy metal
which, despite appearances to the contrary, would be musically compatible with
a kind of church absolutism.
